Cleansing therapies are aimed at detoxifying the body, mind and spirit. It is a spiritual practice that allows people to achieve balance in their lives. In a cleansing therapy, a person must practice taking part in various types of exercises or engage in various types of meditation and other types of healing activities. These techniques result in a different kind of physical and emotional equilibrium.
On our recent trip to Absolute Sanctuary Thailand, we spent many hours practicing yoga retreats with other yoga enthusiasts. During these retreats, we also practiced Thai Massage as well as Bio Impedance Analysis. The methods of these cleansing therapies were inspired by Ayurveda.
Yoga and Massage: Yoga retreats are well-known for their emphasis on physical and mental well-being. The participants in the retreats stay in small, comfortable rooms, which have walls covered with colorful and soothing paintings. There are typically five to eight hour sessions per day. The primary aim of yoga retreats is to increase a yogi’s level of consciousness and find inner peace.
Thai Massage: Thai Massage is another cleansing therapy that is practiced in Thailand. Traditionally, Thai massage focuses on soft tissue relief by using oils and lotions. However, in today’s fast-paced world, Thai massage can also offer other physical and psychological benefits.
Bio Impedance Analysis: Bio Impedance Analysis is also calling BIA or Biophysical Induction. In BIA, a person’s body is immersed in water, and a machine is used to measure the electrical potential difference between the electrical activity of the brain and that of the body. This technique is known for its effectiveness in treating severe depression and anxiety disorders. Although the technique is a little expensive, it is still preferred by many health practitioners help people manage their anxiety disorders.
During our Yoga Retreat in Thailand, we participated in several activities, including Thai Massage and Bio Impedance Analysis. The two techniques were fun and exciting, and the atmosphere in the retreat center was quite relaxed. There was plenty of time to meditate and relax.
Because we had the opportunity to participate in Thai Massage and Bio Impedance Analysis on our Yoga Retreat, we found that we had lots of energy for the rest of the week. We also had the opportunity to explore more of the local culture and to meet many new friends. After spending a week on the beach, it seemed we would have plenty of energy for the rest of the year.
Our conclusion: It was a fantastic Yoga Retreat, in addition to having fun, physical and mental exercises. Our Yoga Retreat in Thailand was full of rejuvenating cleansing therapies.
